Manually Remove a Computer from System Center Essentials 2010

System Center Essentials installs an agent on your Windows server or workstation, if you are unable to run the uninstaller from the System Center console, or forgot to uninstall the agent before you decommissioned the server or workstation there is a way to remove it from the System Center console.

  • Open the SCE 2010 Console
  • Click on Administration

  • Under Device Management, click on Agent Managed
  • Right-click the server or workstation you want to remove and click Delete.
